Handmade on Maui using cowrie and puka shells I've personally collected while cleaning Maui shorelines, these one-of-a-kind shell boot chains bring a little beachy chic to your favorite cowgirl boots.
Each pair features a dreamy combination of natural cowrie shells, puka shells, and two different types of luminous mother-of-pearl beads. Think creamy neutrals, pearly textures, and a little coastal cowgirl attitude.
Finished with oversized round carabiners and chunky statement hardware, these handmade Western boot accessories are designed to turn heads.
Every shell is individually select, hand-drill, and assemble every shell on Maui. No mass production. No two pairs are exactly alike. Just ocean treasures transformed into wearable art.

Shells: Personally collected Maui cowrie and puka shells
Beads: Two different types of mother-of-pearl
Carabiners: Oversized 1.5-inch round carabiners
Connecting rings: Thick, closed 3/4-inch O-rings on each end
Hardware options: Gold-plated or silver-plated stainless steel carabiners
Crimp beads: 14k gold-filled or sterling silver, depending on hardware finish

The professional photos show the original design. Your finished Cowgirl Boot Chains will feature an additional thick, closed 3/4-inch O-ring at each end.
The beading wire will be securely looped around these rings to help prevent it from slipping through the carabiners. Each ring adds approximately 1/2 inch to the overall length, bringing each finished chain to approximately 13.5 inches.
This small addition complements the oversized hardware aesthetic while providing a more secure connection.
